Shingles is quite a painful disease of the skin. It is primarily originate by the same virus that leads chicken pox too. Therefore those with previous history of chicken pox are at a greater risk of getting shingles. The
symptoms of shingles can be very painful. The symptoms may vary from person to person depending upon the age, medical condition and the overall health of the patient.
In most cases it is found that the
symptoms of shingles start with amplified
skin sensitivity.

This is accompanied with a burning commotion in some areas of the skin. In cease of some patients it is also found that they experience a tickling in that particular area which may come with lack of sensation in that area. In common cases shingles affect the head, the neck, face, arms, the abdomen, legs etc. The areas that are typically affected are arms, legs, neck, face and abdomen. However if it affects the eyes or the nose then it may prove to be dangerous and very painful.
Along with the above mentioned
symptoms of shingles a person may experience other discomforts like stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, nausea etc. The skin symptoms of shingles generally begin with skin rashes which later take the shape of small eruptions with 3 to four days. With the passage of time these blisters are filled up with fluids and although at the initially stages the fluid is clear yet gradually it turn out to be cloudy. These blisters then rise up and the affected skin begins to ooze. After a few days the healing process starts and within a few days the skin heals. In some patients the blisters might not surface although the patient may experience great pain and burning sensation.
